Ready or Not 2 Here I Come, is a 2026 American horror-comedy film directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, and written by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy. It is a direct sequel to Ready or Not (2019), in which Samara Weaving reprises her role as Grace MacCaullay. The film also stars Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, David Cronenberg, and Elijah Wood. Set immediately after the events of the first film, it follows Grace as she must protect her estranged sister while being hunted by four rival elite families in a high-stakes ritual to claim a position of supreme power.
Synopsis
Grace (Samara Weaving) may have survived the deadly game of hide-and-seek against the Le Domas—the family of her newlywed husband—but the ordeal is far from over. Before she knows it, she’s thrown right into the next deadly manhunt, where this time it’s all or nothing. By her side is her sister Faith (Kathryn Newton), who was used as leverage to force Grace to risk her life once again. This time, the sisters are targeted by no fewer than four families—including the super-rich Danforths (featuring Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Cronenberg, among others), who hope to climb the social ladder by winning the deadly game. But Grace and Faith must first get past them in order to finally defeat the High Council and put an end to the bloody games once and for all.
